PunaKone, (PK), is a clan from Finland that has been around for about 3 years now. (PK) was formed by a few good friends to make playing Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 just a bit more tactical, and a bit more fun. Since then, PunaKone has formed into a bunch of friends, who enjoy playing together, and do it very well, indeed.
Although PunaKone is just for finns, I thought that I'd write this in english, incase any of you who have seen us on the battlefield want to know more about us. PunaKone has about a dozen of active members, and some more semi-active.
As I said, (PK) has its roots in Ostfront. Most of us have been playing the game since its launch, although there are some who have started playing a year ago, or so. PunaKones idea is mainly to play a bit more tactical, play well together, have fun, shed fear into the enemy, maybe make friends and hang out in VOIP.
Although our hearts belong to Red Orchestra and Darkest Hour (and that is where most of our history lies), we play many other games together, also. For example Men of War, ArmA2 and Hearts of Iron are games which we have played together quite a bit.
PunaKone might not be a realism unit, per se, but we attempt, and succeed, in playing relatively realistically. We forbid ghosting as a spectator for example, and we loathe ramboes.
PKs home in Red Orchestra has always been The Wild Bunch's servers, and we enjoy playing on those servers (Big thanks, TWB guys!).
Although PK does use ranks, they play a minimal role. They are mainly here to show who has been in PK the longest, and who you should ask for help.
PK is ofcourse going to swap to RO:HoS (and its mods) when it comes out (you can't imagine the amount of hype we have here in PK.)
I'll write some of this stuff in finnish now, and some directions if you're perhaps interested in joining PK. Feel free to ask anything!

Pelaamme pääasiassa Red Orchestraa ja Darkest Houria, Mare Nostrumia tulee pelattua harvemmin sen surkeahkon pelaajamäärän vuoksi. Pelaamme yleensä mm. The Wild Bunchin taikka BOHin servereillä, ja DHta esim FranzKaizerilla. PunaKoneen jäsenet pelaavat tietysti muitakin pelejä yhdessä, kuten mm. ArmA2:sta ja Hearts of Ironia. Men of War: Assault Squadia pelaamme päivittäin yhdessä.
PunaKone yrittää pelata suhteellisen realistisesti, eli ei harrasteta ghostaamista jos joku on spectatorina, ja pyritään olla ramboilematta.
Käytämme VOIP-chatinä Mumblea (atm. versio 1.2) jossa meillä on oma serverimme.

-Omistat Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 pelin, ja suositeltavasti siihen ainakin Darkest Hour -modin, ja aiot ostaa Red Orchestra 2:n sen tullessa.
-Omistat mikrofonin ja olet valmis lataamaan ja asentamaan Mumblen, ja uskallat puhua mikrofooniin ainakin silloin kun tarvitsee.
-Olisi hyvä jos voisit aktiivisesti pelata, pelaamme lähes päivittäin, ja aina löytyy joku halukas pelaamaan. Ymmärrämme tietysti myös jos se ei ole mahdollista.
-Sinun pitää osata käyttäytyä pelejä pelatessa. Peeloja, ramboilua etc emme hyväksy.
-Ikärajaa ei käytännössä ole, sillä jos et osaa käyttäytyä tms., niin Hecu antaa kengänkuvan takapuoleen.
